The Parish serves Winlaton village Winlaton Mill, the surrounding estates and part of Blaydon Burn,Bleach Green and "Hole in the Wall",all at the west end of Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council. It is part of a "Locality" ministry in the Diocese of Durham with the parishes of Chopwell and Rowlands Gill/High Spen.
